“About Jacqui”
Jacqueline ("Jacqui") Grant brings a profound understanding of art's therapeutic potential to addiction recovery and trauma healing. Jacqui has well over a decade of personal experience participating in IFS Therapy with Psychotherapist Dr. Kimberley S. Benson. Jacqui’s journey in expressive arts facilitation began in July 2022 at the Salvation Army Center of Hope, where she developed and refined her innovative workshop approach. The program's success led to its integration into the Center's CRP Drug and Alcohol Recovery Program.
As her methodology evolved, Jacqui expanded her reach to include facilitating workshops at Mindsol Wellness Center and Sarasota Addiction Specialists Adult Outpatient Program, where she now serves as a counselor. While her experience in addiction recovery settings is extensive, her therapeutic art exercises extend beyond addiction treatment to address broader aspects of trauma processing and emotional healing.
Through Seeds of Self Actualization Workshops (SOSA), Jacqui has crafted a unique series of expressive arts exercises that foster personal growth, deep self-understanding, and meaningful connection. Her approach emphasizes the transformative power of creative expression in building more joyful, authentic lives.
Drawing from her own journey and professional experience, Jacqui remains dedicated to sharing these proven therapeutic techniques with others seeking healing and personal development.
“The journey inward is the most rewarding of all.”
